Rose Ball 2012 (Formal Trip)

                  Hosted
in Savannah, Georgia, Rose Ball 2012 was a trip filled with memories that will
not be forgotten. As brother’s and their dates arrived at the hotel, it was
time for a fun-filled weekend. The evening began with an exquisite dinner in
City Market followed by a night out on River Street where we gathered in the
Savannah bars and treated our dates to a good time. Saturday was a time for catching some rays and
enjoying the afternoon on Tybee Island. As the coach bus arrived to take us to
the beach, brothers loaded their coolers and prepared for an eventful afternoon.
As the day came to a close it was time for our formal dinner at River House
Seafood where the 2012 “Rose” was awarded. Each spring semester, the brothers
of Beta Tau Chapter elect one of the current sweethearts to be the new rose. This
year’s award was given to Sarah Pittard.

Rose Ball 2012 was one for the ages, and for
me personally will be hard to top in the future. Between the beautiful beaches
Savannah has to offer and the busy nightlife, the city served as a
well-deserved get away for the weekend.

                                      Thanks,

Andrew Golden (Vice Archon - BT 903)
